This year our Tar Heel Service Day project is to collect food stuffs for the San Antonio Food Bank for Hurricane Harvey relief. Alex Hammer is our project manager for this effort. The food items most needed by the Food Bank are: peanut butter, cereal, rice, beans, and canned meat. Bring your donations to the Stone Werks at Lincoln Heights, or to our football game viewing parties at Burleson Yard Beer Garden on September 23 (Duke) or October 7 (Notre Dame). We will consolidate the collections on October 14th and deliver the donation to the Food Bank. Thank you in advance for your support for this worthy effort.
