This year we are collecting books, school supplies, simple journals, puzzles, crafts, footballs, basketballs, outdoor equipment for children who are inpatients at a local San Antonio mental health hospital. The children are mostly low income and involved in the Child Protective Service system in some way. Andrea Pierce Seely is a nurse practitioner at the hospital and is coordinating the children’s needs for us. Please join us an help make this event a big success for these children.
Let’s meet in the parking lot at the Stone Werks at the Vineyards (1604 and Blanco) to collect the donations then we can go to the Stone Werks for food and drink and talk about the coming football and basketball season.
Don’t forget to wear your Carolina blue.
